My magazine that I am doing is going to have a genre of R&B. This is because I enjoy R&B music the most and I know more about this type of music than any other. Also I have been to see a few R&B artists in concert so I will have my own pictures what I will be able to use, instead of having no pictures as we are unable to use any internet photos as its copyright.

I need to make a new magazine that isn’t just a re copy of another magazine or the same name and different genre, it has to be new! Making my magazine I will include a front page, contents page and a double page spread. The magazine will also need at least 4 original images.

Brief

The front cover page, contents page and double page spread of a new music magazine. All images and text used must be original and produced by you - minimun of four images.

The brief

Preliminary exercise: Using DTP and an image manipulation program, produce the front page of a new school/college magazine. Featuring a photograph of a student in medium close-up plus some appropriately laid-out text and a masthead. Additionally you must produce a mock-up of the layout of the contents page to demonstrate their gasp of DTP.
